Whenever I try writing something new, I always fall in the trap of looking at what I already have and just keep editing it over and over. I then have no more brain power for thinking up new ideas. Motivation is definitely such a difficulty sometimes loll

Aaahhh the editing trap 🫠 I’m familiar with that one too!

It’s really difficult to manage one’s own energy and writing as a creative occupation indeed needs a lot of brain power.

I wish you good luck with your writing! Sending good vibes your way!

I love spontaneous writing! But that's like the teenage version of you, most of the times it has other ideas. It's a very interesting approach you took to talk to your individual selfs

There are often times for me that I don't feel like writing...well more accurately, I don't like and even dread the hour or so it frequently takes staring at my computer before my mind slows enough to actually get into the writing flow. The times I can really hit a stride with my writing and where I feel wholly immersed in a scene are exhilarating, but I badly wish I could fast-forward past the "waiting time" it takes to get there. Best of luck with your writing as always as well as your motivation!

Gosh, that feels so familiar. Sometimes I‘m stuck in the dreading part so much I fear that that‘s all what writing will be to me… and then, if I‘m lucky, I get into the flow. It‘s always a relief when that happens!

All the best to your writing too!
