I had to laugh reading this. I could feel your eyes rolling after the example of 'interesting' writing of short sentences was given. I also absolutely agree with the fact that writing mistakes can be forgiven if the plot is interesting (see tins of fan fiction out there that sometimes has terrible writing but amazing story ideas). Can't wait for the next kinda bookish review!

I read it and agree with you that the writing is a bit dense and difficult to understand especially in the beginning, but when the plot picked up, I really liked it. I’ve read the first 3 books, but haven’t read the newer ones yet. I agree too that even if the writing is not very beautiful, if the story is still compelling, I’m still hooked!
